On the Menu: Grammy's Pot Pie
(Chicken, Red Jacket new potatoes, carrots, snow peas, Delicious Red apples)

I had a little dental work done (I'm fine, thank you!) and had to eat something soft for dinner.  What could be better than Grammy's Pot Pie?  This must be a popular flavor because it flies off the shelves by the case.  Humans seem to like it too, maybe because it looks and smells like something they'd eat.  After a hard day at the vet clinic, it was so soothing to enjoy my favorite comfort food before curling up on my fluffy pet bed and drifting off to dreamland.

On the Menu: Bite Sized Lamb Training Treats
"A Scrumptious Lamb Treat"

I don't think these would be bite sized for small dogs and, unless you break them up or look for broken bits, they are too big for training treats.  Nevertheless, these are crunchy and scrumptious.  My human sometimes uses when she calls us in from the backyard, and we come running for this tasty snack!

On the Menu: Red, White and Blueberries
(Chicken, red apples, cranberries and blueberries)

The perfect meal to celebrate America's birthday and a popular one too -- there was only one can left in the store.  I sort of expected to see the red and blue berries, but they are pureed.  Probably just as well, because a lot of dogs will leave little round things uneaten in the food bowl (I've done that with peas).  Now join your family and friends in the backyard, hope they share one of those red, white and blue popsicles, and have a safe and happy 4th of July!

On the Menu: French Country Cafe
(Duck, brown rice, carrots, Golden Delicious apples & garden peas)

Bonjour! This flavorful meal made me long for a vacation in dog-friendly France. It would have been even nicer accompanied by a glass of fine wine (my human said "no" to that request), but even with plain old water, c'est bon!

On the Menu: Bully Sticks (12-inch size)

My human jumps into the Wayback Machine sometimes and talks about how things used to be.  "Back in the day" she could only buy bully sticks imported from Germany, but they've been available in most stores since I was born.  Now you have to worry about "safe" countries.  These are made right here in the USA and are individully wrapped so they stay fresh. A tasty, challenging chew. My mouth was tired after 45 minutes!
On the Menu: Smothered Comfort
(Chicken with barley, carrots, sweet potatoes, apples and blueberries)

My human was leery of whole chicken thighs, but the bone is so soft you can mash it with a plastic spoon.  I was leery of the fruit and vegetables.  Pretty sneaky to mix them in with meat and potatoes, but you know what?  I like it!!  I guess I'm a foodie now!
On the Menu: Merrick Flossies Tendon Dog Chew

The twisty shape is supposed to create a natural chewing friction to help keep dog's teeth clean.  It was fun! Not a challenging chew for a big dog -- only took about 15 minutes to eat -- but a great taste!  Don't my teeth look nice?
